Above the village center of Kaltern, at the foot of the Mendel Mountains, away from traffic and in a picturesque location, lies our Pension Christl (565 m).
The unobstructed view over the entire Überetsch wine region, Lake Kaltern, and the Dolomites, the nearby forest, and the relaxing tranquility are the ideal conditions for a beautiful vacation.
Your Arrival
Our Pension Christl is located above the village center of Kaltern, in the district of St. Anton/Pfuß. You can reach the center of Kaltern on foot in about 20 minutes or conveniently by bus (the nearest stop is about 300 meters away).
By Car
▸ On the highway A22:
Take the freeway A22 and exit at Bozen Süd. Turn left onto the toll-free MeBo highway (SS 38) towards Meran. Leave the MeBo at the first exit, "Eppan," and follow the road towards Kaltern.
At the first two roundabouts at the entrance to Kaltern, take the second exit towards "Kalterer See." Follow the road for 1 km until you reach the third roundabout. Here, take the second exit and follow the signs for "St. Anton/Pfuß." Follow the Europastraße (SP15) and then the signs for "Pfuß." After the large 180-degree bend, turn left at the second intersection (you will already see a sign for Pension Christl here). Follow this road for about 250 meters and turn right at the next sign for Pension Christl. After 200 meters uphill, you will have reached us.
▸ Via the Reschen Pass:
First drive through the Vinschgau Valley to Merano. There, take the toll-free MeBo expressway. For the rest of the journey, follow the same route as described above.

One free parking space per room is available directly below the building.
Electric cars:

By Public Transport
First take the train to Bolzano and then continue on bus 132 to Kaltern, getting off at the "St. Anton, Mendelbahn" stop. From here, it is a 600-meter walk to our Pension Christl.
